1984 Trans Am, New Fan Wiring.

Since im installing the new fans im going to upgrade the factory wiring and set it up a little different to what I had it before.

As you can see in the picture below im running both Primary and Secondary fans off the 190'F Temp Switch but i have installed a manual switch in the wiring for the Secondary fan going from the relay (ground) to the temp switch, So i can shut it off when it is not needed.

I have a similar fan problem as yours. I replaced all the fan/coolant related sensors, replaced the computer, and checked the relays on my 92 350 TPI and the fan still won't turn on automatically. Ended up wiring the fan to the relay so that it turns on with the ignition, but I was planning to make a circuit much like yours.

You can see the history of this project car here:

A few updates to that will be posted soon! Good luck with your project

I just had a look at that sight thats a nice car you got there, I recon you will have loads of fun with it.
I like the little headlight mod that it had, that would be sweet to keep if it wasent against the law to use.
